Red Arrow Camp
Located in Northern Wisconsin, Red Arrow Camp is an magical place where boys and young men learn to appreciate and embrace the outdoors while recieving quality instruction in a wide range of athletic, outdoor education, and craft oriented activities for seven weeks in the summer. Red Arrow inspires every camper to live unselfishly, thoughtfully, confidently - and to have fun while doing it! Guided by a very caring and highly trained staff, Red Arrow is the ideal place for a boy to learn to live the values which are so much a part of the RAC tradition: Yes, I Can, being helpful to others in need, sportsmanship and true friendship. I was fortunate enough to be a Red Arrow counselor while in college from 1997-1999. This three year period of my life brought me tremendous enjoyment for so many reasons. I learned more about myself in those three years then I had ever up to that point in my life. Heck, I was a camper as much as a Counselor I think! My eyes were wide open, realizing the importance of outdoor education, fellowship, and confidence that boys should have the opportunity to experience in life.
Sponsor a Mile
26.2 miles to Red Arrow is my attempt raise funds to give a boy, who may not otherwise have, an opportunity to be apart of the Red Arrow family and be a camper this summer. In connection with the camp foundation, the Charles M. Boesel Foundation, I ask you to consider sponsoring 1 mile of my race by donating any dollar amount you see fit. No amount is to small. Your support will surely help to clear a path for a worthy boy to experience the summer of a lifetime. Learn more about the mission of the Boesel Foundation here.
